PBS Digital is joining forces with the annual PBS Technology Conference

If you are not yet aware of TechCon, here is the scoop: TechCon is a 3-day annual event held in Las Vegas just prior to the NAB Show. PBS Digital has been presenting sessions and hosting a kiosk in recent years, and we are thrilled to announce that we will be increasing our presence at the 2015 event, which will be held April 8-10 at Caesars Palace.

Planning is underway for TechCon to become the premier educational home for anyone in public media using technology to serve an audience. Speakers will include station practitioners, industry experts, and top representatives from PBS, NPR, CPB, and other public broadcasting entities. Connect with your colleagues from across the system and our team from PBS Digital at TechCon.

We are now looking for presenters, proposals, and suggestions
Have you implemented something at your station that you think might help other stations? Did you undertake a massive website redesign and have lessons learned you can share? Have you found an amazing solution to the issues that complicate online video? TechCon is looking for your story – come and share it with your colleagues! The Call for Papers is now open through November 7, and you can submit your session proposal here.

In addition to proposals from speakers, we are also looking for potential session ideas. What do you want to learn more about? You can send us your Agenda suggestions here.

Further Information and Details Coming in January
The best justification for attending TechCon will appear in January when Registration opens, and the Agenda for the program will be announced. To stay current on the latest conference developments, you can sign up for the TechCon email list here. The official PBS TechCon website is located at and that will also have the details as they become available.

We hope to see you at TechCon in April!
