Member Video on Demand (MVOD): Progress & Updates on the Newest Station Member Benefit

The Member Video on Demand (MVOD) service will give supporting members instant access to an expanded library of public television programming—wherever and whenever they want it—from any computer, laptop, smartphone or tablet. Featuring both PBS and local station programming, the service will allow members to watch additional episodes and full seasons of many current and past series. PBS Digital and Development Services have been working in partnership with Task Force stations to develop, test, and eventually roll out MVOD to the system. Session attendees will hear from PBS project leads and Task Force station representatives and take away an overview of the project, progress to date, and continued planning process for on boarding and implementation.

Let’s Do the Numbers: PTV Digital Marketing & Fundraising Benchmarks You Can Use

Okay: let's take the plunge and look at public television's metrics. How does our digital fundraising performance stack up against other nonprofits? We'll review our numbers – and in the process, we’ll identify the right digital fundraising metrics and measurements. We'll talk about leveraging benchmarks for fundraising, website engagement, and social media. If we’re going to achieve revenue success, it's critical that we're all on the same page about what success looks like, and how to know if we're getting there. Digital professionals are encouraged to attend this with their fundraising colleagues. While we’ll focus on available TV data, the principles apply to radio as well.
