Q: You are a PBS station staff who wants to increase digital engagement, grow your station’s impact using digital tools and platforms, start tracking analytics, use data to drive decision making, convince management to spend more money on digital promotion and tools, create high-value digital-first content, and/or start building a digital culture at your station. Where do you start?
A: Ask the DMAC! PBS’s Digital Media Advisory Council, or the DMAC, includes some of the top digital minds in the system. The DMAC members have a wide breadth of digital, content and leadership experience, creative thinking, and a diverse approach to problem solving.
At TechCon, the DMAC will answer the toughest questions you can come up with during the session “Challenge Accepted: We’ll Solve Your Thorniest Digital Problems.” What is the one, or two, things holding you, or your station back in the digital space? Let us help you brainstorm and strategize solutions. We will workshop the top questions submitted and help you along the road to digital prowess.
During this session you’ll have an opportunity to meet your station’s DMAC representative (every station has one!), and connect with other digital-minded colleagues in the system who can help you solve your thorny problems - even after the conference ends. This session aims to present problem solving methods for you to try back at your station.
Help us make the session great and submit your toughest questions by filling out our short form. We’ll see you at TechCon!
