Describe your role at PBS
Though technically (and lovingly) a PBS Development Service team member, I have been graciously welcomed as an honorary PBS Digital team member. I serve as the primary liaison with local stations and national partners that provide development tools and services to member stations, for all aspects of individual giving activities that include digital and emerging technologies.
What’s the hardest lesson you’ve learned working in public media?
If you meet one station…well, you’ve met one station.
Based on what you know now, if you could go back to your first day at PBS and give yourself one piece of advice, what would it be?
Buy more rounds at happy hour.
What’s the one website you can’t live without?
It’s the spring classics season, so of course cyclocosm.com.

What is your favorite mobile app?
Redfin, because DC real estate is a great distraction (and fantasy trip).
What do you think are the upcoming trends in the digital world?
Hyperlocalism. This is especially played out in fundraising, specifically events, as the donor connection will always be local.

Tom Robbins, Jacques Anquetil, and Woody Allen.
