PBS Digital Switching its Video Transcoding Service

PBS Digital will soon be switching it's transcoding service. The API structure will not change, just the profiles. We currently generate 11 or 14 output types. Many of these are duplicates, or no longer necessary. We plan to reduce that to 3 or 4 output types. What does this mean for API developers developers? Read more to find out.

Planned Merlin/COVE Outage During Media Manager Launch Cycle

Reminder that the Merlin/COVE console will be disabled for all users 2AM-Noon ET, for each Tuesday during the roll-out period (excluding April 18) with the final outage planned for May 2nd. All users must stop using Merlin/COVE by Monday, 11:59PM ET, the night before a Tuesday release. Asset/Ingestion updates made after this time may be lost.
