Station Feedback on Source 2.0

Last Updated by Holly DeJong on

It’s been a few months since the launch of Source 2.0, and the team couldn’t be happier to see the site achieve new heights with over double the amount of active users! With hundreds of new assets added weekly, the Source increasingly becomes a useful tool for a variety of departments such as Marketing, Communication, Digital, and Development.

See how Source 2.0 has served the various needs of PBS Member Stations with the testimonials below:

“The Source has improved our workflow and media management. We rely less on promo reels, and are able to get most assets directly from the Source. Being able to download assets directly from the Source has saved me hard drive space, time and reduced the number of promos that I need to store and manage in house.”

-Dan Reid, TV Traffic Coordinator at Lakeshore Public Media, IN

“Because of the Source, our already effectively WNIT Planner (our bi-monthly programming guide) has become a greater tool our WNIT Members can't afford to miss or not pick up and read cover to cover."

-Jamal Henry, Audience Development at WNIT, IN

“I use the Source a lot for the graphic design work I do. I especially find branding guidelines useful not only for PBS, but also for PBS Digital Media, PBS KIDS and other shows / programs.”

- Andrea Coates, Graphic Designer at The Nine Network (KETC), MO

“I use Source for so many things! One of my primary uses is for promos, trailers, and other videos. It is so easy to download them to use on Facebook and Instagram! I also go to the Source for press releases that we can customize for our use. Since I am LPB’s primary point person for our Facebook and Twitter accounts, the social media assets are very helpful. The PBS Digital media assets are fun to use now and then, too.”

- Margaret Schlaudecker, Director of Promotions, Louisiana Public Broadcasting
