Hispanic Heritage Month 2016: Station Resources

Last Updated by Nicole Eley-Carr | Sr. Manager Content Strategy and Partnerships | Digital on

This year PBS has teamed up with Latino Public BroadcastingWORLD Channel and partners from American Documentary to create a new social media campaign that celebrates Latino stories & culture: #MiHistoria.

Each week, a new theme will challenge viewers to celebrate the people, ideas, and moments in history that are important to them through their favorite social networks — through a photo or video. All memories using the hashtag #MiHistoria (and tag @PBS) will be aggregated onto PBS.org and shared across PBS platforms to help celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

We have prepared a social media toolkit with graphics & templates for you to use throughout the month. And two bentomatic collections will be available for your sites (see details below). To sign up for weekly emails with recommended social copy, please reach out to nreleycarr@pbs.org.

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!
