PBS_nerd1.pngIt’s good to nerd out every once in awhile, especially in the company of fellow nerds. And with spring around the corner, there’s no better time to head outside and make your inner PBS nerd known! That’s why PBS Development Services is embracing the spirit of nerdism gaining traction around the system, by offering a new grant opportunity: the PBS Nerd Event Grant.

About the PBS Nerds
The PBS Nerd Grant is inspired by the mantra that “Everyone’s a nerd for something.” PBS Nerd is a community engagement campaign with roots at the station level, focused on helping stations promote the things that public media does best—catering to niche interests, catalyzing learning in every space, and convening the community around these ideals.

PBS Development Services will provide up to 10 station grants of up to $2,000 per activity along with select number of PBS Nerd glasses and t-shirts. Grants must be submitted on or before April. To learn more, see the full RFP. To apply, fill out the online application
