Major PBS Streaming Video Updates Now Available on Roku

Last Updated by SPI Team on

We are pleased to announce a significant upgrade to the PBS Video Channel on Roku. In addition to a new and improved design, users can now set up Show Syncing across their devices.

When users launch the updated PBS Video Channel, they will have the option to Enable Show Syncing across any device they use to watch PBS Video. Activation will link to their PBS account or allow them to create a new one. Users may choose to skip this step. Once activated, users will have access to some great new features including:

  • Favoriting Shows
  • Creating and using their own Watchlist
  • Pausing a show on one device and resuming it on another device

We've already seen strong user adoption of the PBS Video Channel, with Roku streams up nearly 40% year-over-year. With these enhancements, we anticipate higher user satisfaction and continued growth!
