WHYY's Public Media March Madness Returns

pbsvsnpr_logo2015.pngFor most, March means three things: St. Patrick's Day, Hope (since Spring is just around the corner), and of course College Basketball. But if green drinks, tulips and dribbling basketball balls aren't your thing, perhaps WHYY’s PBS vs. NPR: Public Media Madness will help ease you out of your winter funk.

For a second year, WHYY is hoping to entertain and engage public media enthusiasts with five rounds of voting, weekly recap reports, and playful parody of public media and sports culture. At WHYY.org/madness you can take part in the head-to-heads via a bracket which pits PBS and NPR personalities against one another each week.

Voting beings Sunday, March 1 at midnight. The first round ends Wednesday, March 4 at midnight, but the entire tournament isn’t over until the end of the month. Winner is announced April 1!

A PBS or NPR winner will be crowned, but only through the support of voters. So help your favorites make it to the Big Dance by picking your seeds and following up to see who reigns supreme. Share the brackets on Facebook and use #PBSvsNPR on Twitter. You can also get caught up on last year's face-off with this post.

Let the madness begin #pubmedia.
