New Improvements to Prospect Reports

In an effort to ensure stations have the resources and information they need to capture the most value from the new prospects we’re delivering through the Station Portal, we’ve made a few updates to the reports.

New Report: Active Prospects

This list includes only prospects who are actively engaged with the co-branded communications they’ve subscribed to on PBS.org. Specifically, the report includes:

  • People who have opened or clicked on an email in the last four months AND have not unsubscribed from all communications

  • People who have signed up to receive communications within the last four months.

You can still download the full list of prospects, which includes a checkbox indicating whether the prospect is Active or not. The Member Station Prospect Report, Member Station Prospect Report - KIDS and the Active Prospects report exclude all contacts with hard bounced email addresses.

prospect2.pngNew Fields: Newsletter Subscriptions

We’ve also included new fields in all of the reports that indicate exactly which newsletters each prospect is subscribed to, and we’ve created an editorial calendar that shows when each of the newsletters is sent out as well as many of the producer newsletters. You can also access the calendar from the sidebar in the Station Portal (click here to access). What’s Coming Up

We’re constantly working on providing useful information to help you better cultivate and convert these prospects. Here’s what’s in the pipeline:

  • New Fields: OTT Devices – Since a number of prospects have signed up to watch PBS programs on a number of OTT devices, we’re creating fields that show exactly which devices each contact is using to engage with their local PBS member station.

  • New Field: Last Interaction – This field will be the date of the prospect’s last interaction with an email, so you can qualify and segment active prospects based on your own criteria.
